How often you say that inside your head? Or “by right, ..” and some other similar phrase.
I have those moments last week which made me stress out because I want to do things in certain way and expecting certain result or outcome.
But it didn’t happen.
I was feeling down, demoralized and questioning myself if I do it right? To the extent that I kept messaging my friends in group chat. I lose my confident.
The result was bad for the first few days, and it scared me off every time I need to deal with it again.
I tried to convince myself, it’s okay, it will get better from now on. We had been on the low side, so what can be worse? Take this time as opportunity to relearn what I have know so far.
Mid of last week, suddenly things started to show improvement. It made me happy and I feel motivated again.
My friend told me, it’s okay to stay as is when things are working. Don’t try to change too many things at the same time. Allow myself to settle down, get used to it, then change bit by bit after that.
Then it reminds me of Agile. Small and rapid improvement along the way. Shorter feedback time and smaller steps to keep us in check about the end goal.
So, I learned that sometimes we just need to throw everything we know and relearn about the things we know. And be open mind about the new way.
