It’s been awhile I haven’t been blogging here. But this year I’m planning to be more regularly back to this space.
I don’t like to rant usually. But let’s take it this time is special come back 🤣
- Sometimes it’s irritating when you’re sharing your thought process about your finding and the other party just say that I’m anyhow and saying it with condescending vibe that I’m such a failure
- When you’re doing analysis there are many ways
- If I do with binary search and you think with sequential search, if the purpose is to find the element, not about efficiency, then any search method will works
I ranted three points above in my insta story this afternoon. Cos I think I felt it’s an unfinished business bogging my mind since morning.
Maybe the other party doesn’t mean it, maybe I haven’t had my coffee / tea in the morning. But I felt that.
So now after validating and agreeing that I’m irritated or to be more precise is pissed, what’s next?
I feel a bit relieve.
You may say, but now you left the traces online in the Internet. Why you publish your dirty laundry?
Here is why?
1. When I wasn’t active to blog like previous years and trying to be more present by joining conversation in group chat or online groups, I feel over the time, it’s either someone kept talking in the group or you’re the one that kept talking in the group. It’s not two ways like how friends are meeting in real world and have a chit chat. Sometimes you just want to have a chat but everyone is busy with their life. And you’re just not their priority anymore.
(Don’t worry this post won’t be a sad post)
2. As I’m typing this, somehow I feel nostalgic to have a conversation with yourself. Reflecting on what happened in the day. Evaluation time. I’m amused that sometimes I may have some spur of moment where I just want to throw something to the other party or I say or do something silly which makes me wants to hide myself from world.
So, it’s not airing your dirty laundry. It’s accepting your feeling and find a peace with it. Giving it a closure. If you’re angry with something, what can you do about it or learn from it. If you’re happy because of something, record it for memory keepsake.
I find it somehow better to have a convo with yourself than ranting to someone. Because when you’re ranting to someone, if they are agree then it’s good. Or maybe they will just nod to agree with you cos they can’t be bothered and just to satisfy your ego.
Anyway, don’t you find it amusing when you read your old post or old Facebook statuses? 🤣 I think it’s part your growing blocks.
PS: finding the analogy for this morning situation making me feel nostalgic indeed, with all the classes I had about search and sort algorithm in my first year.
