Don’t you feel amazed when you started to tidy up some of your stuffs and as you look through it, you started to think, why it seems I was wiser yesterday? 1. I took out some pages from my agenda, it’s been half a year in 2017 but I still kept all the planner pages from beginning. It makes my planner thinner now. In one of the page I wrote few lines which I heard from a Japanese movie, Honnoji […]

Running at our own pace
"Don't rush it. I know you want to finish the length of the swimming pool but I want you to focus on your stroke and follow the *beep* of your timer. Now you need to do it right and constant pace. Not doing it fast." that was my coach said to us during our lesson this week. She also said that it's easy to just go faster but we will feel exhausted before the entire distance we supposed to cover. […]
The art of waiting
I don't always dislike waiting, because it actually allows me to read or play games while waiting. What I don't really enjoy is the outcome of waiting. For example, you're in line for getting rare merchandise or limited food quantity for quite some time and when your turn is up, you don't manage to get it.While some people have more patience, I find myself on the impatient side. Can you wait patiently? Or you like to move fast?
My “you’ll thank me later” moment
It’s almost 2 weeks ago since I started a new habit to wake up earlier and allocate some time to do some drills in the morning before taking shower. I have no issue waking up in the morning (most of the days) but there are times when I just want to play my game longer in the evening before going to bed. And I find it hard to wake up in the morning. So, there are times when I dragged […]
Perfect or working solution?
“I’m not aiming for a perfect solution but I’d rather have a working solution” is what my colleague told me based on his past experience, when I was discussing about project I’m leading. In my personal life context, I have to say that being a perfectionist (to some extent), I usually did a thorough research and compared different approach or products. But I also realize that often I called it off because I can’t accept available options, whether they are […]
Awareness (continue)
In my swimming class, my coaches always asked what did I do and how did I do it or how I feel after some drills. They will still tell me if I couldn’t tell them maybe because I wasn’t aware or preoccupied with other things while doing it. They always emphasize that we need to be aware about what we do and remember the feel of it. When we remember it, we are conscious and as we practice more, the […]
Stay focus and be aware
Very recently I joined a workshop about brush lettering, which taught me about the basic technique and some applications to enhance the work or medium to work on. We also learned about different pens and brushes. Looking back (way back..) I started to have interest with fonts (to extend almost like obsessed) when I started to my web developer path. But I wasn’t an art student. My brother was the one. Then I told my brother about my old new […]
To be worried 悩む
As the day to start work in new place is approaching, I can’t help to feel worried. About I can work as they expect me to, or not. About my colleague, if I will make good friends again or not. I had 21km marathon today so with my tired brain and body, I decided to take it that Don’t let Worry Steal Your Joy
