To be honest with ourselves

I remember clearly that on one fine day, while I was working on my website project, one of my flatmate entered my room and asked me, “How can you build a website?” Looking at her while my hands were typing some HTML code, and replied “Why not?” Let me share you my story. I’ve been playing with HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, ASP, for quite some time. I admit that I’m not the best coder among my peers. I enrolled into […]

Remember why you are here

Recently I listened to a design talk, one of the speaker begins her presentation with a slide titled, “Remember why you are here”. And following that title, there is a sentence, “I started this field because I’m passionate about [blanks]” This brought my memory back to a book I read in the past, a self help book on to find joy about your work. 1 year ago

After missing my due for my last 2 posts and as weekend is approaching, finally I have time to blog. Oh how I miss it. I feel like want to have a flash back for in this post. I browsed my past posts by selecting the year and month. And come to my surprise, a year ago (as the title said) on the exact date, I wrote about complacency. Based on 3 points I write on fighting complacency, I did […]

To connect

Thought of the day: You will never know that sometimes even a small gesture from us, can be a great thing for others. It works the other way around too. When we did something bad to others, we assume that it’s nothing because it’s small. But it can mean a huge blow for them. Here is my personal experience:
