Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.
Leo Buscaglia
That what I was being reminded recently. There are many things in my mind which makes me worry. And sometimes to the extent of panicking.
For example, I always get the pre-trip jittery bug. Back then was more on if I pack enough, if I forgets anything and so on. These days, arrangement for my cats, are they going to be fine or not. If there are video about animals or pets with separation anxiety, I think I’m the one having separation anxiety.
It bugs me to some extent till I decided to ask group of friends whom I met recently because of my furkiddos.
The answer they gave me was soothing that it’s normal to feel it and some of them are like me. It doesn’t really matter if it’s related to first time pawrents or not.
That worry, sometimes, makes me unable to think straight or right.
However, it’s not that I don’t put effort to make best arrangement for them or with their well-being as first priority. I did things with those in mind. So my friends said, just trust people around me, my cat sitters or the boarders and send thoughts to them that all is good.
I thought my parenting style will be the cool parents whom will allow the kids to experience and learn through it. But doesn’t seem like it..! Haha!
Oh well, I guess it’s something I need to be better at. That always did your best on something and let it takes naturally.
