First lesson from life this year is about being humble.
When you had been working on a project or doing what you have been doing for some years. you probably started to think that I’m the expert.
Well, definitely wrong.
There is a saying that “猿も木から落ちる” (reading: saru ni mo ki kara ochiru) which means, even monkey can fall from a tree.
It feels like having limited view, you can only see what’s in front of you. When someone is telling you that it can be done in different way, you started to feel “uncomfortable”.
Uncomfortable is very generous word which can be translated into many feelings, such as worry, restless, doesn’t feel right and so on. Basically it’s 不安 (reading: fu an)
Feeling “uncomfortable” is good. It means that we feel something is wrong, could be with external factors or, it could be us too. It’s a feeling that keeps us in a check.
Or, it’s a gentle nudge from the universe.
So, be humble, share what you have, have a good discussion with your friends, improve yourself and improve others.
Knowledge will evolve, so keep learning. In that way, you’ll be able to keep moving to next phase and be better.
