That plan is perfect, but..

Do you like to make a plan? Or do you prefer to have someone plan for you? Not about your life, it’s about what happened in daily life, like going on a trip, throwing a party, or organizing event? The first time I entered my university life, I was fascinated with the seniors who arrange great orientation for us. (Though for some of us, it’s more like a “torture” rather than welcome party) Anyway, the reason I was fascinated because […]

Yeah, I think that’s my strongest point

One day, with the same friend as previous post, I have another great conversation with him. We were talking about our work. He said that his work sometimes makes him going out the whole day to find suppliers for his company. It tires him out although he enjoys it, meeting other people and commuting. He asked me how is mine. I told him that as a web developer, I develop our company system (obviously), occasionally research on other technology which […]

Yeah, I’m getting closer to my dream actually

On a recent casual talk with one of my best friends, he asked me whether I have achieve my chilhood dreams. I used to have many dreams. My dreams were changing from time to time although some remains the same. I believe that those which stays are those I want it badly. Back to his question, what are my dreams? It took me a while to recall my dreams.

This is my stuff, get your hand out of it

The most interesting story I heard this week is about when you told someone not to touch your stuff, usually what would they do? The original story I heard was about how a wife outsmart her husband to read a book by telling her husband not to touch her book and a mother who tell her kid not to go to certain place because it was bad for her kid. What happened to the husband and the kid? They think […]

Loving ourselves

I like this idea when I heard it for the first time. Not everyone can accept this, some of my friend feel that it’s a selfish thing to do. I don’t try to sell this concept, but I think we can think about it. Why? I’d like to use one real world example. When we’re on a plane, the flight attendants will do some demonstration about safety. How we buckle up our belts, point out the emergency exits and it […]

Patience about life

Life will give what we need, not what we want. Everything will come in the right time and place. All we need is patience. And a little bit of wisdom. The wisdom is to know when to let go or when to preserve. To identify what we trully want or what we need from the rest. I used to dream that I’m going to overseas, working and living there, or having scholarship, or making international friends. I used to think […]
