Last mid year, I was juggling between my work and my non-work activities. I tried different approaches to solve it yet it came back to me after a while. I was accidentally browsing a bookstore while waiting for my friend. I found the title is very inviting and I decided to skim the TOC. I didn’t buy the book that time because my friend had arrived and I forgot about it until there was a big book sale in a mall. I decided to buy it before I forgot about it again. The tips are very practical and easy to implement. I re-read this book many and many times when I need some inspirations.

I did not purchase this book and I doubt myself I can finish the book when I decided to read it. My house mate borrowed this book from public library together with other books. Since she was reading the others, this book was laying on my living room desk. I found it quite annoying to see book not at the place it should be. I took it and decided to read to kill my time. In the end, I was addicted to read it again and again, like when you’re playing RPG games, you just want to know what is next. It’s not a perfect character (I bet you know it), but I found it irresistible.
Have a Little Faith: A True Story, Mitch Albom
I admit that I like Mitch Albom previous books like, “Tuesday with Morrie.” I like the way he tells his story. Thus, when I saw this book on the shelf, I decided to buy it. And true enough that this book was great. I finished the book quite fast because I went along with his stream. And it’s inspiring.
The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch
Although I knew the title since long time, I didn’t do anything until a friend of mine recommended this book to me. It’s really encouraging me to reach my dream.
Veronica Decides to Die, Paulo Coelho
I found this book on my house bookshelf together with other titles (which I finished the rest as well.) After reading Like the Flowing River: Thoughts and Reflections, I like his words. But Paulo Coelho has different ways on different books, but one similar thing is he always put a message inside his book. Reading different genre gives me broader experience and inspirations.
To conclude, I widened my reading genre on 2009, it’s another accomplishment for me. I used to read comics only, then I was able to read novels though that mainly light and chic-lit genre. Progressing slowly, I can read non-fiction like self development genre and now I can read biography too. I’m looking forward on my reading list for 2010.
