Why too much of good thing is not good for us? I’m curious about the statement after watching a movie last weekend. One of the character inside the movie said that. The movie I watched was “The Karate Kid” or “The Kung Fu Kid” (the title in China). I’ll keep my post short this time, to take it as reflection. Sometimes we work too hard when we wanted something badly. Let’s say we want to score well in our exam. […]

5 ways to free from peer pressure
Recently, one of my friend advised me to stay cool and not to be under pressure since both of our friends just started their relationship. Until he told me that, I didn’t even think about it (the pressure, not about the relationship). Just because people around us doing the same thing, doesn’t mean we are obliged to do the same thing. What do you think? Anyway, the conversation inspire me to write about peer pressure this time. Whether we are […]
Capturing the best picture
As a refresher in between some personal development post I usually I write, I would like to share a story. Some weeks ago, I went to a short hike with group of friends. There were 6 of us, three girls and three boys. Almost all of us bring camera, from pocket camera to digital SLR camera (I counted out mobile phone camera in this case, although that some mobile phone can produce not so bad picture)
Debugging my life
Slightly related to previous post I wrote about the point where we faced difficulties on some stages of our life. Those big challenges sometimes related with making mistakes. As a web programmer, I spend my day writing a code to help my colleagues life easier and more efficient in doing their works; building a system that used to manage projects and many more.
What I learn from running
Although I consider myself don’t have special talent for sports or belong to born for sports group, I like to play sports and tried different kinds of them. But among all them, running is my weakest spot. The main reason is, I don’t have much stamina to run fast. When I was a kid, I always terrified when I was going to have physical examination, especially running. On different level of my school year, I had 100 meters dash, 1 […]
Quality and quantity
Talking about our life experience, would you prefer quality over quantity? Quantity means you prefer to experience many things, maybe not too much details in it, but at least you have tried it. While quality means you want know more about things rather than just know it
That plan is perfect, but..
Do you like to make a plan? Or do you prefer to have someone plan for you? Not about your life, it’s about what happened in daily life, like going on a trip, throwing a party, or organizing event? The first time I entered my university life, I was fascinated with the seniors who arrange great orientation for us. (Though for some of us, it’s more like a “torture” rather than welcome party) Anyway, the reason I was fascinated because […]
Yeah, I think that’s my strongest point
One day, with the same friend as previous post, I have another great conversation with him. We were talking about our work. He said that his work sometimes makes him going out the whole day to find suppliers for his company. It tires him out although he enjoys it, meeting other people and commuting. He asked me how is mine. I told him that as a web developer, I develop our company system (obviously), occasionally research on other technology which […]
