When was the first time you’re going a trip by yourself? And where? Can you remembered it?
I think my first solo trip was one of my work trip.
I was worried at first, but luckily I’ve been to that place before with my manager. So I kind of know my way. Then it gradually becomes I need to go to a new places by myself. And I lost count after that.
One thing I learn from my recent trip is, I don’t like to pack my schedule, it makes the trip not enjoyable. I know places I’d like to visit, but I won’t set a target I need to check all the checkpoints.
As I walk to a unfamiliar places or spots sometimes I feel 1km feels long or feel longer. Does it happen to you?
And the more familiar with that place, the more efficient or shorter time to walk pass that place.
Also, when you travel to different countries and places seeing different situations or hardships then you started to appreciate more of things you have back home, that sometimes what we see as a huge problem in your country or place where you live might seems trivial after all.
Vice versa, you started to make comparison why certain things are not as efficient as back home and so on.
What’s your fave country or city so far? And what’s the most exciting place you traveled alone to date?
