There was one event I joined for the first time last week, Cat Adoption Drive.
I usually come as visitor than as participant. In June I rescued a cat from my block because she was new to the territory and has been chased by resident cat. Here is June’s story.
It was first time for both of us to join this event. And both of us were nervous.
The crowd was overwhelming.
I feel lucky that we have friends helping us. And June, she could somehow manage to sleep with the crowd around her.
Sometimes things are scary when you’re new or doing it for the first time by yourself. But we had muttered courage to make the first step. It’s a progress. A good one. No matter big or small.
Everything else is a bonus after that.
So, it’s okay to be scared at first, but let’s try to experience it, and feel all the thrills.
Then we, at least, know and perhaps learn something from it.
