You should do a marathon once in your life

I mentioned many times in my previous blog post that I’m not a runner, I don’t have stamina nor speed. But there is something about running which somehow always pulls me back to do it.

The euphoria after running and the less preparation needed sport are perhaps the main reasons.

I ticked this out of my bucket list last year. I don’t care much about the time, as long as I cross the finish line, and didn’t get any injury.

It’s an eye opening experience because every time I’m facing difficulties, or having the feeling to rush on something to complete a task when I don’t have much strength left, I always use that marathon experience as reference.

That you don’t need to rush it, the goal will always be there. (Unless it’s about work which is different situation, as there are many things you can’t control)

Although the training for a marathon event is not easy, it gave me a purpose to work on that year.

Will I do it again? Maybe.
