What I learn from running

Although I consider myself don’t have special talent for sports or belong to born for sports group, I like to play sports and tried different kinds of them. But among all them, running is my weakest spot.

Jogging

The main reason is, I don’t have much stamina to run fast. When I was a kid, I always terrified when I was going to have physical examination, especially running. On different level of my school year, I had 100 meters dash, 1 km run, 2 km run and 5 km run. Sometimes those distances were measured by how many laps we should run on a field.

Juicy friendship

Juice of the day: Friendship.

How many friends do you have?

We made friends since we were young, at school, at tuition center (maybe), or at work. At each stage of our life, we had close friends whom help us through the storm of our life.

Can you remember them? One by one? And named them?

Older or wiser, you choose

This trip was special. I celebrated my birthday with new (close) friends, on another country adventuring. Hong Kong is the fourth country I have my birthday.

Birthday Cake

Usually on my birthday, my mom will cook mee-suah (面线) for me. It’s been a tradition in my family to eat noodles on our special occasion, such as birthday. Noodle means longevity by the way. (some of my friends don’t believe it when I said so)

On shortening words

Some questions to ponder:

  1. When you’re using your mobile phone, do you prefer texting or making a call?
  2. When you’re online, how do you usually type your conversation? Do you use “thx”, “btw”, “asap”, “fyi”, “lol” and many other often?
  3. Do you use number to replace certain texts, for instance 4 -> for, 2 -> to?
  4. Do you active participant in certain forums?

Embracing new journey..

Yep!

I’ve been doing this for how many times. Add this, remove that, edit this code, remark that code, change the link here and there. I always like to do same things in a different way.

Used to do it in my local hard drive until I really satisfied with the new look, then upload it to the Internet. But I guess, the condition is a bit different now. Singapore has a faster Internet connection compared to my own country Indonesia. Thus, doing a small renovation live is quite enjoyable somehow.
