On getting what we are thinking about

In other words, on making our dreams come true, or getting what we want, or the point is we want something to be happened like we wanted to be. We often think that “aw!, that’s too much for me”, or “well, sounds/looks difficult”, or “I’ll try it when I’m ready.” It happens to me most of the times, and I believe what happened to most of us too, we tend to slack off, put it off until the last minute, or get pumped in the beginning and nothing happens after that.

When this happens to me, for instance I want to be able to swim, instead of taking lessons or going for swimming with friends, I keep rejecting my friends when they ask me for swimming. The reasons were I can’t swim, what am I supposed to do when you’re swimming, and many more crap reasons (I can say those were really crap reasons ;)). Well, you may say that, swimming doesn’t count, it’s not serious, not some kind of life achievement or special dream everyone wanted.

On shortening words

Some questions to ponder:

  1. When you’re using your mobile phone, do you prefer texting or making a call?
  2. When you’re online, how do you usually type your conversation? Do you use “thx”, “btw”, “asap”, “fyi”, “lol” and many other often?
  3. Do you use number to replace certain texts, for instance 4 -> for, 2 -> to?
  4. Do you active participant in certain forums?

Embracing new journey..

Yep!

I’ve been doing this for how many times. Add this, remove that, edit this code, remark that code, change the link here and there. I always like to do same things in a different way.

Used to do it in my local hard drive until I really satisfied with the new look, then upload it to the Internet. But I guess, the condition is a bit different now. Singapore has a faster Internet connection compared to my own country Indonesia. Thus, doing a small renovation live is quite enjoyable somehow.

my (most) favorite quote

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life – by Steve Jobs.

I’ve been using that quote as my email signature for quite sometimes since I know about it few years back. The rest of the sentences following those quotes are:

Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

on recent depression

( ̄へ ̄) {a little confession note to myself for what happened this week}

(´~`) むにゃむにゃ

Blame it to lack of sleep,

I felt have no energy left to face the day. I don’t have motivation at all since the morning I wake up. Why and why is the question I like to ask myself. On my effort to find out the answer, I even feel more depressed.

( ̄へ ̄)

Blame it to others behavior,

I was easily fumed or irritated by what my so-called friends do. Here are some of the examples which made me hate or angry to the other party. First, by making me feel that I’m the biggest idiot who patiently draw and color while the person’s effort is “only” googling and combining the game engine then leads to the second thing which is ruining my beautifully-written-and-structured-library-according-to-my-standard when that person combined those. Third, making me played guess-what-i-am-trying-to-say by pointing here and there and mumbling in the morning, sorry my brain took it as compiled error. …

my (not typical) weekend – final

On Sunday,

It was 10 a.m when I came out from my bedroom. Ugh! I was the last one who woke up, almost. Apparently, I was the second. Well, I felt a bit weird when I woke up late, but anyway, these two days were really made me tired.

Ironing the laundry form previous day and lucky me, it wasn’t that much. Hmm.. I suddenly feels like want to go to McD nearby, had a breakfast set and more precisely, I want to complete my Doraemon set ;p

I told my flatmates my plan, that I might go to the nearby market to buy some supplies for cooking lunch. And one of them told me that she wanted to join me for shopping.

my weekend – part 2/3

On Saturday,

Woke up at 9 a.m. boiled some water in the pot, I made myself a morning coffee. Hmm, it was a bright sunny Saturday morning, I had an idea!

I headed back to my room and the idea was changing my bed sheets. I took off the old and put the new one, ran the washing machines with all week  laundry. I grabbed the bread and sipped the coffee while waiting for the washing machine to finish.

However, I saw some dust on my desk previously. I decided to do some cleaning. There was a plenty of time to kill anyway. After I wiped my table and out of nowhere, I felt that I like to .. re-arrange my room, my table to put it more precise.
