some of the simple things which are inspiring
Learning from the past
One of the best tips I learned recently is from a PMP book from Head First series. The best way to learn and remember what we learned is by repeating same thing in a different way. Which brought me to a feature from Facebook, called “memory” which tells you what happened to you at today’s date but in the past. I found it annoying at first because of the notification but I become liking it. Why?
Things we value
We value things which are hard to get That’s what the speaker said in a seminar I attended in the office yesterday. Do you agree? When I put lots of effort into it, I’ll take a good care of it so that I won’t lose it. I’ll remember the journey and the hardship to get it.
The things which we don’t like
Sometimes it’s easier to ask ourselves or being asked by someone else, “What are things which you don’t like” than “What are the things which you like” Eliminate those and to be more like ourselves. No?
Don’t give trouble to others
人に迷惑をかけなるな (hito ni meiwaku wo kakeru na) That’s what my Japanese teacher (先生) told us in class. She gave an example that she usually sits upright in the plane because she feels when she does it, it will give trouble to the person behind her. How about if the person in front of you do it? It’s a trouble to her, but at least she didn’t do it to others.

Don’t alienate your feelings. Don’t kill your feelings. Don’t be scared to show it. Have you watched it? If you have, what’s your fave? If not, go and watch it, I recommend it.
Soccer team
I just had a full week workshop with my company. Some colleagues were flying in from U.S., Japan, Korea, Australia, Shanghai and India while some of us are based in Singapore. The workshop was quite intense, lots of information needs to be churned. And I learned a lot.
Mind channeling
Mental contentment is to accept situation beyond our control and channel the negative energy to a positive thoughts (tri_spirit) A quote I saw last week which reminds me that how tough the situation is, it’s up to me how I will act on it. So, I’m telling myself, if I have some worries and can’t get it out from my head, rather than worrying it or panicking, let’s go out, do some jogging or swimming or cycling or maybe just […]
